Just looking for some advice on the best way to fix holes in the lawn.

Few horses got out and trampled the lawn so it is now covered in hoof divots.

Any ideas on the best method to level these out get the lawn flat again?

Garden fork, stick it in a few inches away from the hole and push back to lever up the hole/soil. That's what we used to do.
Btw, it is the responsibility of the horse owner to put it right.

Fill up holes with sand grass will soon cover it over
