Missed Rent Payment - Mortgage Application

Hi All, I'm hoping to apply for a mortgage in January. Unfortunately I missed a rent payment today, I forgot about another direct debit that was due to come out and the standing order for the rent failed by €50. So annoyed with myself! What kind of an impact is this likely to have on my mortgage application. I missed 2 bill (non rent) payments last year due to the dates falling just before pay day but changed the dates on the direct debits and all has been fine since. I've never missed a loan or credit card re-payment. Could this be grounds for refusing my application?
