I have just realised that my bike to work is available to me again next year, so new bike time.

I have two bikes for saleand want to work out what i can reasonably achieve pricewise, so i know what i can spend next year

    Bike 1. I would like €200
Four year old, bought new for €650.
Jupiter Spider 18-speed road bike for sale. Lightweight frame with carbon-fibre forks. At a total weight of 10 kilos, this is easy to push and will eat the road on a long run.
It has served me well, until I upgraded.
    56cm frame; 39-inch (100cm) wheelbase.
Derailleurs – front Shimano Sora; rear Shimano Tiagra. Integrated Sora shifters. Shimano crank.
    TekTro calliper brakes
    San Marco saddle
    Standard pedals with Toe Clips
Wheels and tyres; 700c / 26-inch NMU 36-spoke hubs & rims. Continental Gatorskin Tyres Spare tube with tools and Saddle bag.
Sale to include helmet (Adult), and gloves

    Bike 2. I would like €650
Canyon ultimate AL Size Large, 2012/13 at a guess.
Not the standard bike with Shimano parts, it is the campagnolo (Athena II, I think, ill have to check tomorrow) groupset version.
    22 speed.

I am more than happy to keep on plodding on with the Canyon, but with the BTW available again, i am getting an itch, I just cant scratch.

Then add €1,000 and what should i buy?

    Thanks a million.

Guessing I’d say you’ll be lucky to get €150-200 for the Jupiter. The Canyon should make €600-750 (again a guesstimate)

I just realised i hadnt said how old the Canyon was, would that make a difference to the guesstimate?
Your guess is about what i thought for ghe jupiter, but (gladly) a little above what i hoped for the canyon, i hope you are right, im sure i could find something nice for €1700/1800

Thanks for your guess cee jay cee
