can anyone tell me if there are any other food/grocery shops in holyhill other than supervalu.
i cant find any others like spar/centra even small independent shops which is surprising given big population and large number of apple workers

Not really. The garage down the road wouldn't have the freshest stuff there. Then you have Lidl and a Spar around the corner from that. But you are far removed from Holyhill at that stage.

That Super Valu is the pits. Between navigating the little rat boys and girls outside, the awful choice and the practically stale fruit and veg it really isn't a pleasant visit.

It's the worst SuperValu. There is no choice there at all. Don't know why they bother.

Donnelly’s Gala on the corner of Blarney Street/Strawberry Hill is another one, it’s pretty small though.

Not only is the petrol station not great for choice, it’s expensive.

Singleton has now put all his eggs in that particular basket since the recent closure of his Centra store on Bakers Road and of Centra on Gurranabraher Avenue a few years ago.

Made a fortune off them though..

Must have been a very good offer for the bakers road store given that it only had a refurbishment in 2014.
