Hi all! So I accepted a new job to start (on paper) on the 31st of December. But I cannot leave my current job until the same day.

So the question is, is the fact that I finish one job on the same day I start the new job allowed?

Thanks for the replies! I wasn't sure if there was law against this type of stuff. My labour law knowledge is very weak!

Yes, shouldn’t be a problem. There are a lot of people out there working 2 jobs .

Yeah, nobody cares whether you're working both jobs at the same time. There's certainly no problem with working one and then going to the other on the same day.
