Recommend a laptop for a 10year old

    H folks, my son is looking for one for xmas. Nothing to high spec. Gaming, YouTube, etc....

    I haven't a clue about laptops, just tablets!! Any recommendations?? Cheers

    Just be careful with what he will expect. Gaming is something that low cost laptops do not do well. Most laptops should be able to play the likes of MineCraft. But forget any games such as Call of Duty etc.

    What kind of budget do you have?

    this one is £500 so a bit more than 500 but...
    it does have a graphics card but it's at the lower end (950m) of them but would run most games at an ok framerate at lower settings

    price seems to have gone up on that to £600. wouldn't buy it at that price.
    there were some good deals for the whole black friday / cyber monday thing but most seem to be over now.
    you could ring them up to see if you could get it at the lower price given that it has just changed.
