Kitchen Bar Stools

We've had some faux Beige Leather Kitchen Barstools in our Kitchen since our Reno in 2010. They've served us well and owe us nothing. They are very much worse for wear at this stage though but we still really like them and I started looking into direct replacements. I bought them for about €50 each back in 2010 IIRC. I've found that Woodies where I originally bought them as well as Harvey Normans etc still sell this exact Kitchen Barstool but for €90-100 Black Friday Price with a supposed €120+ RRP.

I don't love these stools enough to hand out the €400-500 they seem to be asking for the 4 chairs I'd need!!!

I googled the name they are given on Harvey Norman which is Plump Bar Stool Taupe and the first hit was a paid google ad for an Irish company who's name I can't mention I assume. (Easy to guess though) Found the barstool on their site and they were €54 each or €48 for orders of 4. That would be €192 for the 4 I want which would be great. Only thing is, this website as well as its facebook page have a yahoo email address and a mobile contact number which makes me a little wary. However the site does have a Secure HTTPS cert when I make a fake order and accepts Visa. I'm wondering is Visa all the security I really need. ie. a chargeback if I don't receive the goods?

If anyone can guess the Irish barstool company I am talking about can anyone recommend them or not (by PM I assume?) Am I safe enough ordering from them?

Is it Homelinefurniture? They came up when I googled it?

I can't see any barstools at the prices you're talking, though? Could you link? Seems a good price?

In relation to whether they're trustworthy or not, I don't know. A WhoIs search says the site was registered on 3rd April 2009, and the name sounds familiar to me, so I'd say you're fairly safe.

I don't know why the name is familiar, but i worked in a furniture shop a few years back and it's possible we got stuff off them (but I couldn't say for sure to be honest). I personally wouldn't be overly worried.

Twas Barstool.ie I ordered from. They're in Dundalk. They were legit and a pleasure to deal with and I got my 4 stools for €192 delivered before Christmas. 4x €48 as opposed to the 4x €90(Sale)99RRP from Harvey Norman

Just checked their site, and they actually do have some good prices and great variety. I feel like I'm shilling for them.

Mad that I've googled bar stools before loads of times and never even heard of them. They have a stool i want at a price i can justify. Was otherwise gonna be waiting for Homestoreandmore's half price on stools to get them down to the normal price.

Am i alone in saying that barstools with a gas lift tend to be knackered after a year or so anyway? I'm a bit heavy myself, but the brother, dad, etc. all say the same (and they'd be normal weight, normal use, etc.) but they all reckon the gas lifts aren't worth a shite after a year or so?
