Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal?

I have no idea what to look for when buying a laptop. Right now I need it for office apps, browsing, streaming, maybe light gaming?
    It needs to be quick.
I'm studying programming (just started, hardware specs evade me) so i need something that can keep up with programming code, running visual studio etc.
I'd like a few years usage out of the laptop and ideally €500 (+10% depending) is my max.

My laptop is so slow despite minimal usage, it crashed the other day for the first time so i need to upgrade. I can't afford to lose assignments.

Quick google searches tell me i should look for 8gb ram and a 256gb ssd and i processor dualie things annnd.... yeah.....no idea.

    Any recommendations?

How old is your current laptop? You won't loose assignments if you back up your stuff.
The laptop you linked should be well capable of doing what you need.
