I've some knowledge of oil burners but not enough to advise on burning diesel rather than kerosene or MGO, however, some petrol stations will sell kerosene or MGO by the litre, so get 10-20l for tonight.

A lot of petrol stations sell 25 litres of kero or they have a kero pump if you bring your own drum.

You will need to bleed the line at the boiler. Switch off all power when doing so.

As above some petrol stations sell or try hardware store if close.

If badly stuck use a fire if you have one or a gas heater etc.

don't do it. burner needs to be set up to burn diesel different setting to kero. but if your really stuck it will burn it and produce heat smoke and soot.
