    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

The Nest Learning Thermostat, currently available with Electric Ireland, is the third generation thermostat.

If you have any queries regarding the Nest we would recommend calling the Electric Ireland Home Services team on 1850 372 333. They are available to call from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Further details are also available online here.

We hope this helps. Should you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Brige

    Hi super_sweeney,

    Thank you for your post.

A single Nest Thermostat can control one heating zone (radiators) and a hot water zone. If you have more than one heating zone, you will need a second Nest thermostat. You can find more information relating to Nest here.

If you have any technical questions about the Nest or its installation, we recommend calling our colleagues in the Home Services team on 1850 372 333 or emailing them on homeservices@electricireland.ie.

Should you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,
    Aoife

    Aoife,

With regards needing a second Nest, is this the same as the first one i.e buying the same item twice? 2 x one heating zone and a hot water zone?

    Two of these?

    Thanks.

    Thank you for your post.

Yes - you can install the same type of Nest Learning Thermostat for your second heating zone.

If you get two Nest Learning Thermostats with Electric Ireland here, the first will be at the discounted rate of 130 euro and the second at 270 euro. This offer includes installation. Please note our installers can only set up products purchased with Electric Ireland.

Our colleagues in the Home Energy Services department are also available from 9am to 6pm on 1850 372 333 (Monday to Friday).

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,
