Do I upgrade my cameras or just replace broken lens?

    Hi all,

So I bought a Canon eos 1100d a good few years ago now, and I love it but two years ago got a Sony a5000 which due to the flip screen, wifi capability and how compact it is while still being a decent camera I've found myself using so much more. However my sister borrowed the Sony cam and broke the lens. She has given me money to replace it but I have been toying with the idea of trying selling both the canon and the body of the Sony in order to upgrade to a dslr with wifi capability and a flip screen.

Does anyone have any advice as to whether this is a good idea or no?
Any recommendations to a good replacement camera? Budget approx €600?
Is there an advantage to keeping both a dslr and a mirrorless?

    Thank you!
