BMW 530D oil leak and glow plug 2 issues

    Hi

    So in the last week noticed an oil leak on the driver side of the engine.




    Then in the last couple of days the car has been going into limp mode with error code 4222 which seems to be glow plug two.

    so I'm wondering if the issues are related? I'm fearing the worst.

    if so what am I looking at? or could they be separate and would changing glow plug two solve my limp mode issue?

    Where exactly is the leak coming from? Could be the gasket ring that joins the oil feed pipe to turbo?

    Doubt glowplug is related. What are you using to scan codes?
