Student PRSI taxback?

I worked over the summer and earned a net of just over 9 thousand euro. I know I can claim back USC and PAYE, but I was deducted roughly 1200 euro in PRSI and was wondering if there's any way to claim this back as It would come in very handy for helping me pay for my commute or fees for the year.

PRSI works on a weekly basis, not cumulatively per annum.

So typically you can't get refunds.

PRSI should be circa 4% so €1,200 sounds like a lot of PRSI based on €9,000 earnings.

Could some if the be employers PRSI? Your PRSI should only be circa €360

1,200 includes the employer PRSI, and no unfortunately you can't claim it back.
