    Hi,

I failed the NCT on Saturday due to crack on wind screen and head lights needs to be realigned and cleaned.

I thought these are just visual inspections and will not cost anything? Or has the NCT changed now that any retest warrants a €28 fee?

    Thanks

Headlights are not a visual if they are out of allignement.

Headlight realignment test uses equipment so will have a retest fee.

Head light realignment means going on the machine, hence the fee, I would think

Headlights are tested with equipment, hence it needs to go back into the test hall again = fee.
