The 3gb ram version is €229 at the moment on Tesco Mobile

Looking for a new phone at the moment, any ideas on how it would stack up compared to the Sony experia?

No NFC on the Moto G5 so no android pay or leap card top up etc. The G5 plus has it though.

Shamelessly taken from HUKD but a very decent price for a very good value phone:

I am unsure if Argos UK will deliver to Ireland but you can certainly use the Argos UK Ebay Link above. Otherwise, Addresspal or Parcel Motel will suffice.

By the way I know this is the 2gb RAM model, the 3gb RAM model is currently 174 GBP on Amazon (The 2gb model is 155 GBP mind)

May be of use to some one as this seems to very consistently recommended as one of the best budget phones and none of the networks here seem to stock it

It has reduced to £129.95 on Amazon UK since you linked above, dispatched and sold by Amazon.

A friend of mine has that Xperia and is so frustrated by it. He says it's so clunky and prone to crashing. He's currently looking to replace it.

I wouldn't buy a new phone now with 2gb of ram. Think it would be a false economy as it's already not really capable enough for smooth operation.

Huawei P8 lite has 3gb ram and is cheap enough.

Moto G5S on Amazon (not to be confused with Moto G5) reduced today from £218 to £175. Cheapest it's ever been.

Ordered the moto g5 from Argos eBay site last Monday. Ordered it to send to parcel motel. Got email saying it was shipped. 2 days later got email saying I was getting a refund from eBay argos. Got a full refund yesterday. Collecting items from parcel motel today and was shocked to have received the phone. So delighted to get 130 pound phone for nothing! ðŸ˜

    or one for that matter?
its RAM, so just means its slower having many apps open at once, but even 1 will cope very well if you dont go mad

I find there is a massive difference between 1 and 2. Not so much between 2 and 3.
