    Advice please.
Have a couple of fields of nice fresh grass still left to graze. But just after walking them and the ground is now totally saturated. Question is If i put my few bullocks on silage for say 2 or 3 weeks and if the weather dried up a bit or got hardy could i let the cattle back out to graze or would I only be messing with the cattle's digestive system.
Am I as well of to just leave the grass until next spring or will it have an quality by then.

Buy a few runner HEX. Let them have the run of the place and stick a bale in a feeder in some corner and 2kg of high protien meal. You will have nice healthy/hairy lumps by the spring.
