Leak in air recovery system

    Hi all

Recently purchased a new build that has an air recovery system. We just moved in and within the first few days we noticed a leak about 30CM in length in the bathroom ceiling. It turned out to be a pipe in the air recovery system in the attic.

The water has leaked from this pipe, on to chipboard, through the insulation and to the ceiling in the bathroom.

What is the recommended fix here? The builders are just leaving it to dry out and repaint the bathroom ceiling.

Should the insulation between the attic and the bathroom not be checked or replaced as it must be soaking wet and would take forever to dry. Potential mould etc.

    Appreciate anyone's advice here.
