Taken from another site and to help this brave little lad on Sunday too.

Alot of people are going to this, and we are all meeting at 12 noon at Maxol Long Mile Road on Sunday 19th November

Forget going for a spin on Sunday ,
Let’s make this a memorable occasion for young Richard , it’s not much to ask for a young child with such devastating events awaiting him.
Please come along if you can.
    “Bikers SOS
    Sunday 19th Nov 2017
Liffey Valley S/C - Eddie Rockets Diner
    Approx. 12:30 – 12:45 (Will be confirmed)
Last Thursday my nephew Richard a little 11yr old brave young man was suffering with headaches.
His mum a single mum took him to Specsavers in Galway as that is where they are based.
They were told to go to the hospital straight away. In the hospital they commenced tests and informed Paula (Richards Mum) that he would be transferred to Beaumont Hospital immediately.
Tests confirmed that he has a tumour which is cancer in his brain stem – it’s in a place to which they cannot operate.
    Long Story Short:
He loves motorbikes and action heroes – it would make his year and show that everyone young, old and indifferent are thinking of him in his fight.
He is due back in Dublin on Sunday after a few days rest at home to start his radiation on Monday in Dublin
I ask any bikers to go to the Liffey Valley Eddie Rockets Diner on Sunday so to lead a procession as such to Clarehall shopping Centre.
Thank you for reading and hope to see some on Sunday if possible.”

Lads,I spoke to the little boys uncle last night at a chipper run rideout.A good few of us went out last night for some grub and to chat to the uncle about Sunday.

This little lad is gonna have a very tough battle ahead of him.
But hes smiling from ear to ear and he the life and soul of the party, from what his uncle tells me.
Hes absolutely nuts about bikes and superheros.
So if all of you can even take an hour out of your day on Sunday to ride from Liffey Valley to Clarehall, then you will make this yong lads day and keep him smiling too.

Dress up in what ever you want to dress up in,its all about a fun day out and for this little lad too.Just be there on your bike on Sunday to support this brave lad.

Meetup point is Maxol Long Mile Road at 12 noon, leaving at 12:30 SHARP.

Right there seems to be some confusion as to whether the meet is at Liffey Valley SC or Maxol LMR ~ Dead Ducks and a few clubs are meeting at the LMR, others at Liffey Valley SC.

    Any clarity?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,936 ✭✭✭stewygriffin

The rideout starts from Liffey Valley and goes over to Clarehall.

Most lads are meeting up at Maxol Long Mile Road at 12 midday, and riding over to Liffey Valley in 1 large group.

Roll out from Maxol is at 12:20pm sharp on Sunday.

Meet you at the filling station (Topas?) at Ballymun/Northwood junction at 10:45 & depart at 11:15 if you wish. I'll be coming from the Portmarnock direction.

Anyone else coming from this direction?.
