Great phone, big specs and awesome display.

    Today only.

I understand lot's have had reasons to dislike ibood, but I use them 3-4 times a year and am always impressed with the products. Delivery is sometimes slower than expected, but that's it.

Expected shipping date is 21/11 - usually takes 2-5 days after with UPS

Iboods specs are slightly wrong (they have inaccurate camera details, and also- its 3Gb RAM- not 4Gb).
Their price is also not the most competitive.
We have discussed this particular phone ad nauseum in this forum- eglobal have it @ 222.50 in black (officially 'lunar grey') or rose gold (blush gold) colour

Its a decent phone- however, the iBood offer is far from the cheapest way to get this particular phone (its also cheaper on Amazon- along with eglobal etc)- and the suggested price and discount they're quoting are ficticious.

Cheers, I'm involved in most of the mobile discussions on boards, so aware of the pricing. I posted the offer as some people don't like to purchase from Asia or Amazon, I personally use eglobal and other Asian vendors regularly.

Ibood's RRP is always off, still not a terrible deal though.

By the way, you're incorrect about the RAM, there are multiple versions of the G5S Plus, some with 3GB and some with 4GB. Check it out on GSM arena.

In regards to using Asian or international vendors, have you been stung with import or custom fees... I have been looking at something along these lines (https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_663817.html?wid=4) but am worried about getting shafted on added fees. Any advice on how to avoid them if any...

You can get it direct from Motorola in Uk

    https://www.motorola.co.uk/products/moto-g-plus-gen-5-special-edition

Use code UKWELCOME10 for £10 off bringing it to £249 (€278+Parcel motel or Parcel wizard) you can use paypal with parcel motel and for this deal. They will not accept credit card with the parcel motel but if using paypal not an issue ordered off them before using this way.

Always look out for more codes online for motorola as you can sometimes stack them.

More expensive then deal but you get it faster then iboot
Also it mentions no band 20 which could be an issue for some. One i linked has band 20 but only 3gb and 32gb rom

Its certainly not cheaper on Amazon (this is the dual sim model) and your playing Russian roulette with Customs with the Hong Kong operator.

They've a few warehouses in Europe- eglobal ship phones from Germany.

Lack of Band 20- an issue for 4G in some rural areas (e.g. Vodafone in the Northwest use band 20 extensively- because it has better range). Don't know about the other operators.
