there isn't. discrimination against people because catholic is as disgusting as discrimination against people because muslim.

Over 200 Christian churches, monuments vandalised in Bavarian region. Wonder why that would happen:rolleyes:

grand, as long as we place the same restrictions on all other religions including catholicism. so no more "catholic" schools for example, and no more laws based on the catholic religion in our constitution. otherwise i can only suggest that such restrictions would be imposed to specifically target muslims because muslims.

Well I'd be more for restricting who comes to preach hate no matter what religion

how big of you.

Must be very lonely up there on your self made pedestal;)

so democracy only for you then. lovely. what if they are european muslims, where are you going to expel them to if they dare to campaign for something you don't like?
sharia law and child marriages are illegal anyway so there would be no point in them campaigning for them, seeing as they won't have much support, they won't be made legal, and child marriage isn't really a muslim specific issue anyway.

There was no Sharia Law or burka's in most of the middle east up to the 70s
but why worry all the refugees will return home, they only going to bring their extended family for a holiday:rolleyes:

I find it interesting that their countries of origin have strict laws regarding the behavior of foreigners especially with regards to religious practices... but it's terrible that some suggest we should have similar conditions here.
absolutely. i want to live in a democratic country. if i was the type that wanted to live in a country that has restrictions on some sections of people that don't apply to others because i don't like them, then i will go live in a theocracy. if that is what you want, consider going to live in a theocracy yourself, and they will be able to meet your requirements.

Do you not look at whats happening in Germany/France/Belgium/Sweden/Finland/Italy/UK & think maybe I might be wrong about letting loads of refugees into Ireland?
Do people really think we will escape whats happening in Europe?

• Registered Users Posts: 2,965 ✭✭✭Help!!!!

but they are european, so it can't be done.

they won't get enough votes to get it passed. none of us want sharia law, and there will always be more of us then the few who may want it, so sharia law won't be happening.

won't happen. there won't be the support base for it.

i don't want to push anyone out. i just made a suggestion that may meet your needs. you are under no obligation to take it up.

People like yourself will be the first to go, take Lebanon as an example
I find it crazy that the spread of Islam has happened across the Middle East/Asia/Africa now happening in Europe & people so how think Muslims dont want it to happen here. Ireland would be seen as a prize by the MB & others a country that was mainly Catholic succumb to Islam
But it will never happen:p

• Registered Users Posts: 2,965 ✭✭✭Help!!!!

It can't be done because you simply say so. Falling European birth rates, a growing elderly group, and a much higher birth rate in Muslims has no impact on you...

I could point out that there are many groups or individuals like yourself who would protect their rights to full religious freedom... and nah. Not much point.

Consequence of our ruling parties squeezing every last cent out of the working man that they cant afford to have kids

Did anybody notice what the Greens want in their negotiations to form a "Jamaican" coalition in Germany. They want family reunions for the million or so 'refugees' who came to Germany 2 years ago.
What planet do they live on. That could be 7 million people. They will have relatives as well.
Are these people insane or do they hate their country and their culture and seek to destroy it.
Beats me.

Liberalism being a mental disorder seems truer & truer by the day. The problem is that most of the politicians dont have to be around the migrants, they live in high walled & gated properties. Theres elderly people & women around Europe having to be home before dark so they dont get harassed or robbed. What sort of life is that when you cant go about your day in peace

I didn't write that quote so nothing to do with me but I haven't heard any party wanting to ban abortion as it would be a waste of resources seeing as its already illegal in Ireland:D:D

You're a member (allegedly) of a group that pledges itself to a total ban on abortion. You yourself stated that everybody should be made watch videos of abortions before they vote on it.

Abortion is illegal in Ireland. Yes I think if your going to vote to kill something you should see what is involved. Is it ok to abort a downs syndrome baby?
Watch this video & tell me its OK

you're whining about it however.

Its my democratic right to whine about whatever I please

if the men are behaving in a criminal manner then lock them up or deport them.

Well they should have been deported already, why lock them up costing the tax payer

If you picked that up from what I wrote then thats on you
We have our own benefits burdens, we dont need someone coming in to go straight on benefits
There are a lot of women with kids who work, there are a lot who dont

It's a difficult situation for refugees across Europe and according to this article on Zerohedge, it looks as if it's going to get a lot worse.

This kinda token gesture argument you'd only ever see in online debate/chat has to be the most pointless and weakest line of thinking out there.

This kinda token gesture argument you'd only ever see in online debate/chat has to be the most pointless and weakest line of thinking out there.

Why? People seem to think that Ireland has loads of money to spend on bringing in migrants
The people wanting to bring these people here are usually the one never going to have to put up with them. Remember when that child was dead on the beach, all the radio phone ins people were saying they would take in a Syrian into their home. So maybe its time for them to step up then
Adopt a Syrian, would be a cheaper alternative than what the Government is doing now. Would be an easier way for them to assimilate. Would help them become part of the community. Government could pay said migrant normal rate of benefits so they could pay rent.
The Government could set up a website where you give your details & say how many you would like to adopt
Whats not to like about it?

It wont end there, millions upon millions from around the world want to come to Europe now the door is open they will end up making the trip. What about the next generation Asian/African/Middle Eastern you think they will stay where they are? Not a chance, they will want to get here for the gravy train
Why cant we just help them build up their own countries? Billions have gone to Africa in aid & charity but no one ever thought to filter the sea water to irrigate the land to grow crops. Why? because there are people making millions for themselves off the backs of the Africans hard ships. None of these NGO's care one bit about helping them, no war ,no poverty = no work, no money for NGO

I guess if he only followed her around the house she got off lightly. Many around Europe paying for having good intentions

The more the Left and the Leftist Media want to demonize Pres. Trump, Poland,Hungary, Czech Rep and Slovakia [and Romania has jumped on too iirc] for not wanting to take them in [or send them back in Trump's case] the more right they look when you see what has happened in Germany,Sweden, France and UK.

I'm often in contact with people who help refugees settle in Ireland, I ask them questions about the law and how things really work on the ground. So I've some idea about all this.
I can say with 100% certainty that not only do you not have the first clue what you're talking about, I know you've never even tried to go offline and find anything out, because even if you spent 1 hour offline talking to someone actually knows the law and how things work on the ground you'd have some sense as to whats going on and whats lightly to happen.

Paper never refused ink and that all that's going on here with you and your kind.
We both know you don't know anything so the second you open your mouth you lose all credibility with anyone who's genuinely interested. So why? why do you bother?

Really so explain what I said that was wrong
It is costing roughly €200,000 per refugee can we really afford that when we have homelessnes & children hungry here already?
The people who really want to bring the migrants here are our politicians, once they have congratulated each other & celebrated the " new Irish " they will never lay eyes on those people again until they need votes
I had plenty to do with refugees & migrants in the UK to last me a life time.
What are your views on the NGO's going into Libyan waters & picking up refugees from human traffickers? You think its easy find a dingy out at sea?
So you say you know the law but dont tell what it is....so educate me then if you think I dont know what I'm talking about
