Are you eligible for a CE Scheme if you're only signing for credits?

I would think so, the only reason you are only getting stamps and not a payment is because of means testing I imagine (I think, not 100% certain)

The wording anywhere online that I've checked tonight says "in receipt of a social welfare payment" but I'm not sure if that literally means a financial payment.

It would seem to be crazy if it's the case but stranger things have happened.

Please note that eligibility to participate on the Community Employment programme is linked to those in receipt of an Irish social welfare payment (where specified). Those persons not meeting the criteria under the Part-time Integration or Part-time Job Options, or who are signing for credits, or are receiving social welfare benefits from a different country, are not eligible to participate on Community Employment. http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Eligibility---Participant.aspx

Well that's pretty clear. Thanks for that.
