    Hi Guys,

I am getting married in January in a hotel as a civil ceremony,:)
I am looking for advice from people who had a civil ceremony with the HSE and as to what is allowed and what is not! as it is confusing to me

there is a few things that we would like to do to help bulk it up a bit,

We want to have 5 candles in total
    1 for bride
    1 for groom
1 for brides brother who passed away
1 for grooms mother who passed away
1 for both of us to light in unity,
i know that we are not allowed anything religious in the ceremony so we will not be saying any prayers just want to light the 2 rememberance candles to symbol the family members are present.

We want to do our own vows, short and sweet of course.

we want to have a live singer

We have the 3 bridesmaid split up to read 2 poems

and we want to have 4 songs on total
    Entrance of the bride
    Lighting Candles
    Lighting unity Candle
    Signing Register
    Walking out

I hope that somebody can help me out as i am currently doing up a draft of our ceremony book and dont know if im allowed to have some of this in it..

Many thanks to anybody that responses;).

    Niall
