2012 Qashquai or Kuga

She's changing the car and looking at the above. I'm a Ford fan but am aware of the popularity of the Qashquai and my knowledge on the Kuga wouldn't be the best.
She would be looking for a high enough spec, titanium Kuga most likely. Engine size dosnt matter but as far as the Ford goes I'd like her to keep away from the 1.6.
    Qashquai +2 is 'too big'.
So pros and cons be great to hear, reliability etc.
    Thanks in advance

They never did the 1.6 in the Kuga.

If it's a the new shape Kuga I'd have it over the Qashqai.

No, sister had one up until a few weeks. Never gave trouble, just was never fond of them

    Would be in around 2011-13.

The new Kuga came out towards the end of 2012 but there are still early 2013 old shape Kugas around. The old shape Kuga is based on the Mk2 Focus, rear legroom is rather cramped for it's size though.

Fair enough. I’d put one ahead of the Qashqai and Kuga though but that’s subjective.

Was looking at both a couple of years ago but ended up going with the 2012 ix35.

Loved the Kuga on the test drive but it was a bit out of budget.

I’m about 185cm tall and I found that the Qashqai was a bit on the low side. Visibility was poor out the front as the top of the windscreen was almost at eye level. Yes I did adjust the seat!
