    Hi!
I'm in my late 30s bought a lovely blouse online-long sleeve v neck white- need it for tomorrow night but it is COMPLETELY see through 😨
Anyhoo..... been seeing this trend a bit online and wondering if it's just for teens/20s/celebs..... ie...would I look like an old trollop??? Anyone done it?? Should I just wear a cami??
    Thanks 😊

It depends on the bra. If you have a lovely lace one with intricate detail I think it can look nice. But a regular bog standard from Penneys wouldn't look right. It also depends on bust size- smaller busts tend to get away with this trend easier than those with larger busts. If you like it, then go for it.

For me it's the same issue as with the crop tops. If you have the body then go for it. I like the look although my personal preference would be for good quality but simple bra without lace (I think lace is fashionable now though).

I love a pretty bralet under those kind of blouses

It's nothing to do with your age. More to do with whether it's suitable for where you're going and what you're doing.

If you did want to wear it that style, a nice bralet. Alternatively a pretty camisole underneath

@Tommy Ferguson - if you have nothing helpful or useful to say, then please don’t post

Thanks everyone, I think I'll try and get a camisole- despite all the helpful comments it's always the nasty ones that tend to resonate.

Don't mind him. Wear what you're comfortable in. It would be no harm to buy a nice pretty bralet to try it out and see what it looks like. What's the harm.

Bralets can be very comfy too so win win

It's the only comment you thanked though - strangly enough :o

Meant as an f**k you kind of thanks.
I wouldn't have considered late 30s to be mutton but there you go!
Would bralets be just a summer thing in the shops? I had looked for camisoles earlier this week but it's just big sizes left cos they're a summer item I was told.
    Clueless as you can see!

Personally I would go with a camisole.

Might be a bit late for you now but Penneys have bralets at the moment. I'm late 30s too and would definitely wear a bralet underneath it, in fact I have a few of them. They're very flattering and I think only about €4.
