    This was written with Oliver Holt.
    It is a good read. 312 pages incl index. I am page 120.

    Kieren talks frankly about people, horses, and races.
    He gives a bit of stick to himself and imo might take setbacks a little too hard.
    He mentions that when he didn't win the Eclipse in 1997 on hot favourite Bosra Sham he got a lot of flak.
    There were only five runners and he got boxed in.

    He also mentions that shortly after that he lost the rides on some of Henry Cecil's best horses (owners jocked him off).
    On the way to the races he got a phone call from Prince Khalid Abdullah saying he had full confidence in Kieren. Top man Prince Khalid Abdullah.
