Genuine question - is this a bargain/good price? Have never bought a frozen one before, cheers

Tesco have a smaller one (3kg) reduced from 18.00 to 9.00, so the Supervalu deal sounds good to me.
The going price seems to be 6 euro a kilo.

Are they corn-fed or battery or freerange or organic?

    Does it say?

    It's good enough value!
I've had frozen Turkeys in the past and never had an issue with them.

It's just a standard frozen turkey from a supermarket sometimes they are Irish and sometimes they aren't!

Are they 'basted' like the last time ?

Basting seems to be marketing speak for injecting the things with watery gunge ( approx 10% by weight )

So your actual 5kg bird is loaded with a half litre of, um, muck.

Where has the Barf emoji gone ?

Is the turkey dead or just freezing cold?

New cryogenic technology... you have to be quick once the turkey is defrosted or he'll go right for your eyes.

Frozen turkey isn't something I'd ever buy- many have been in deep frozen storage for a long time.We used to raise turkey and mam was a fully qualified poultry instructress .
