Pump house water fittings - philmac alternative ?

    Hi all,
We have a pump house that supplies water to my house, my parents house and the farm.
It's a mess with pipes as there is also an iron remover, and UV filter and its' "evolved" over the past 40 years.

I want to tidy it all up and put something like handle valves for each pipe on an area on the wall.

I've use philmac fitting before and I have found them easy to use, and good quality, but they are bloody expensive, and I'll need a lot of connections, elbows etc for this project.

I really hate the older style brass fittings with olives primarily because I'm crap at fitting them.

Is there a good quality, and relatively cheap fitting brand that anyone could recommend ?

Either learn how to fit them or get in a plumber.

If there is no leeks leave well enough alone , often you replace a leaking fitting and damage another one in the process

Waterfittings.ie (terra services) a lot cheaper. Used a lot if their stuff for mdpe fittings.
Philmac would be the best but cost is too high.

Philmac have/ will make up a manifold unit which is a good bit cheaper

Philmac do very good stuff. It’s only expensive once

Gripmax. Available in Gambia country life stores. They are like the old philmac design only about half the price.

We're using these for a couple of years now. So far no problems.

tried Gripmax twice never again way more brittle than philmac

I try and bulk buy seem to get better value than one off purchasing fittings, you'd be amazed how fast you'd go through fittings through the year.
