Parking in Rush/Lusk station

I'm considering moving to the Rush/Lusk area and I would have to commute back to the City Centre for work.

The train seems like the obvious solution, however I've been reading on forums and threads across the web, that parking there is a nightmare, that after 7/7:30am there's no parking to be had.

Anyone have any recent experiences, is it absolutely full at these times. I wouldn't be commuting til 8/8:30am so if I'm going to use this as an option, I will need to be able to park there.

Any advise or indications or what people have experienced recently would be helpful. Latest indicators I can find online are from 2009. Hopefully the car park extended since then.

The Carpark is huge these days, no problem getting a spot.
the 33X bus is probably quicker than the train, given it leaves Rush itself and goes thtough Lusk, so no need to drive to the station.
It's cheaper, and a much better chance of getting a seat.

There's the Fingal Expresss coach from Lusk too, it's a bit more expensive, but faster than the 33x (the 33x can only do 65kmh, while the coach can do 80/100 on Motorway)

Appreciate that Insight, eases my concern about using the train, I considered the 33X but I figured it would be longer than the train and subject to traffic but i'll definitely try both to be sure.

Walk / bike / bus to train station.

It's not that far from Lusk in particular and walking is a very realistic option

But the busses come through Lusk...
