Police certificate,go to your local gards station stating what you need it for they'll take it from there.
Do it now,it can take a while, ideally you want it in hand for when the applications open.
    Best of luck with it.

Is there any certificate or document that you should sort prior to waiting for an offer to apply for a work permit arises? Or is it just the police certificate? Cheers

It's just the police certs which can take up to a month. A month is generally the time you have to respond to an invitation to apply.

    Nice one.

Any idea if it's best to go into your local station or apply in writing?
