I was at the sale in Roscommon today. Absolutely fantastic cattle , prices were sluggish. Mind you I am more used of lim and size of some of those sim bulls scared me. The overall champion was 800 plus kg and sep 16 calf. Fair play to the man who bred him. Cracking heifers some made good money some were very slow to open

Be hard to let off any of them with cows with out them falling apart. I prefer to buy a more raw lad tbh.

Thought there was great quality cattle there. Some made serious money.

Some great cattle in it, as good as I've seen in along time. Despite the big crowd thought the trade was sluggish enough. Bull sale ran out of steam altogether for the last 15 bulls or so. Some great prices too mind. Progressive bought a bull at it I see.

    On a side note.
The judge for that show and sale was the Scottish farmer who buried his underpants.
