Hey guys, looking for recommendations on wormers and flea treatments for my two cats? At the moment they're costing 50 euro each per quarter, I'm sure there is a more cost effective way to treat them! They're getting Milbemax wormer and Bravecto spot on.

Wouldn't compromise on worming, but is the flea-treatment strictly essential? I'm not entirely a fan of using flea products unless your cat has proven to be in a a high risk environment for fleas.

Its the spot on thats hugely expensive, they are indoor-outdoor cats but never had fleas or ticks. They're townie cats so I dont worry about ticks so much. But then, maybe they never got fleas because they have spot on.

Spot on flea treatment costs more in weight than the price of gold. I don't know how they justify it.

Any of you guys with indoor-outdoor cats recommend a flea treatment for them? They only really got their spot on once a year and never had fleas. Would you recommend just winging it, and if they do get fleas, treat the problem then?

I agree with all that putting a poison onto a cat to poison the fleas is not an ideal situation. However I've seen my old feral cat (my ma's cat now) got bald year after year because he's allergic to fleas and seems to constantly get them.
