NCT with different wheel

Hi all, my first post :)

So I am just wondering if any of you could help me.
My situation is I have NCT booked for this weekend and I just hit one of my wheels, got a scratch and a bit of the tyre came off.
My question is, what is the best option, as I am pretty sure that they won't pass the car with that bit of rubber from the tyre missing ...

Should I put the spare wheel and bring it to NCT? Spare wheel its different size though ...

Tyre is almost new just a few hundred km, just has a little cut around 3cm. I dont want to spend 200€ in a tyre ... Thank you all in advance.

get a new tyre or use your spare full time, dont be risking your life and everyone elses out of scabbyness.
if the tyres not goign to pass NCT its not safe to use

Cut of the tyre only 16mm so it should pass, I'll go to a garage to see what is their opinion to make sure.

...and how do you propose he does that ?
He's already said it's a different size to the existing Tyres.
At least read his post before calling him names.
