Faulty ice dispenser

My Samsung ice dispenser blocked up the other day, the box was full of one huge lump of ice. Some ice had jammed in the outlet, then backed up to the water inlet, and water seems to have poured down the inside of the freezer, coating the back and sides with a layer of ice.
I cleaned it all out today, but now the water inlet into the ice section isn't working. The water dispenser side is OK, but the ice side isn't.
Any ideas where to start looking for the cause?

Could the water in the water inlet be frozen solid?
Pouring warm water might sort it out

Yes, it seems to be a known fault with Samsung side by sides, I'll check out that possibility tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.
