Will be going to work in slough in a couple if weeks for around 2 months, I've heard slough is not the nicest place so just looking for nicer places to stay within a 20-30 minute drive.
    Any recommendations welcome

    Thanks

Will you have to drive to get to work?
Stretching thirty minutes would put you into Ealing or the likes in London.
Heading away towards Reading would save a lot of money.

    Nice one David!

Slough is like ballycoolin, but 10x worse. Just have a look on maps, there's plenty of places to stay nearby.

Depends on where in slough you are working and your budget, there's a lot of money coming into slough with cross rail, it's not as bad as is made out.

    Personally I'd suggest
    Windsor or Maidenhead

    Something smaller but pricey too
    around Farnham
