Heat Pump Dryer

    Hi

    Was looking to see does anyone have any recommendations on tumble dryers. From what I can see there are three options :

    Vented: shrinks clothes & not efficient.
    Condenser : usually builds mold in room
    Heat Pump: slow drying but energy efficient.

    With all this in mind a heat pump would seem to be the best fit for me. However really finding it difficult to find a decent model.
    The Miele are extremely expensive and I don't think it's wise spending a fortune on a technology that's still maturing.
    Looking at the Bekos they are well priced but the whole catching fires a couple of years back is off putting.

    Wonder does anyone have a make they are happy with , thinking Siemens or Bosch at moment.

    We have a grundig for the last year and a half. Very happy with it. Only slight potential issue is the door catch, sometimes it doesn't quite click home which makes me wonder if there'll be a problem long term.
