Changed address & no payments history on water.ie

    Hi,
    I paid the water charges on the apartment that I was living in at the time and have since moved house a couple of times.

    When I log in online it does not have a WPRN number attached, says I owe €0.68 and payments history is empty. This account also had my old landlord's personal address & phone number as the personal details. I have since updated these to my current address & phone number. The pdf bill for €0.68 is named & addressed to my old landlords name & personal address but the supply address is listed the apartment I was renting.

    This morning I called the customer care number and the automated system told me that I had a WPRN number and a different account number from above linked to my phone number. I was on hold for a while before I had to hang up without talking to anybody.

    I did have a previous issue related to my landlord's details showing up in my account but I was assured that this was fixed & resolved long ago and I continued to make my payments via direct debit.

    How can I go about ensuring that I will be refunded the full amount that I have paid?

    Regards,
    Dermo

    Hi Dermo,

    Thanks for getting in touch and we're sorry to hear you had this experience.

    If you can provide the following details by PM, we will be able to ensure your payments have all been received and follow up accordingly:

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Contact number or Account number; and
    - Confirm if you are the named account holder.

    In order to update your correspondence details, we recommend calling us on 1850 448 448, however there are a very high number of calls today due to refunds.

    Our billing lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.

    Thanks,
    Mairead
