Anyone got any updated news on the proposed extra security for US bound flights. It was mentioned on my flight in last weekend that there were extra delays for outbound passengers but I have heard these kind of warnings before and no real difference in transit time in Dublin. This time I am slightly concerned because I have to head back to USA on Sunday and want every possible minute in bed on Saturday night (I don't live near the Airport).

So what is the real story on the ground this week if anyone knows?

All security measures which came in last month have been in operation since July at DUB and are not causing major problems. Airline guide is 2.5-3 hours before departure.
