    Hi all,

    Thank you for taking time to read this. I'm a binge eater & I can't stop. Everyday I promise myself I will eat healthy but I fail. I've piled on weight & it's got to the stage that it doesn't bother me any more. A relationship I was in ended almost 1 year ago & am still obsessed with my ex. He's always on my mind & I regularly check his Whatsapp status to see if he is online. I took him for granted during the relationship & I carry guilt over that. I think of silly reasons to text him despite the facf that he says he wants nothing to do with me.

    Am in a lonely place & long to be happy.

    I think you should leave the ex alone, delete his number and remove him from whatsapp, unfriend or unfollow his facebook and all other social media, he made his feelings clear, holding on and regretting things, wishing things turned out differently wont change anything. Have you gone for counselling? cbt might help with your obsessions around food and your ex. Have you got any hobbies? immersing yourself in other things might take your mind off your ex. Do you exercise? maybe join a running or walking group or get involved in exercise/dance classes to help you lose the weight and stay fit.
