Was onto live chat there on my eir and did the pinhole reset etc and was told there is a fault on the line and they will send an engineer out in 2/3 working days. Should i reasonably expect them to keep to this? Has anyone had experience of an engineer being sent out?

    Hi there,

I have responded to you on your other post about this. Apologies for that,m it was before I seen this one. 2-3 working days is the standard timeframe to get a technician out to fix a fault, however, it may be longer than this at this time as there is still some damage nationwide caused by storm Ophelia so the availability of technicians is limited.
