    Hi,

My Einhell BT-CS circular saw spring popped of the guard and I cannot find where it went. Looking at the part diagram below I can see its part #25 but I cannot see how it attaches/operates the guard.

    Any ideas anybody?

I'd say the spring's other end should connect to piece 33, 23 or 5

usually there is a slot in the side of the main casing. the spring attaches to that and stretches in the slot. the slot keeps it aligned. it should attach to the guard up near the little handle part.
it is a fiddly job to fix
