lodging cheque

Hi, i was wondering if a family member could lodge a cheque, marked account payee only could be lodged into my account. Cheque is in my name and the account is solely in the same name. Thanks L

Hi lalamcn,

Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to Boards.ie.

Once the cheque is made out to yourself, it can be lodged to your account. If a family member is lodging it, they'll need to bring it to the counter along with your account number and sort code.
