Not a chance on Aerlingus. Flew with Emirates recently and got to watch Chelsea live in the premier league.

Same with JetBlue who have live TV to every seat. I think NBC in the US have the rights. Weird watching live Premiership football on an internal US flight.

That doesn’t help you, OP - sorry!

You could try streaming it on the wi-fi but I'd imagine it wouldn't be fast enough.

I gave my Dad a google hangouts video call from a DUB to ORD flight with EI last year & though there was a little break up, it was stable for the most part.

Worth giving Mobdro a try & see if it'll stream OP.

I think even their highest plan only gives you 270mb so might not be feasible/turn out very expensive

Lufthansa, American Airlines and a few other airlines have a satellite service called sport 24, which shows the top games live from Premier League, Champions League and various sports and qualifiers onboard their planes.

Amazingly on Nov 11th the qualifier they are showing live is indeed Ireland v Denmark with the return game on the 14th also being shown.

bad luck / planning that you are not flying on the right airline

Flight was booked months ago so couldn't guess Ireland were playing on 11th.

If you have a radio player app (not an fm radio) the WiFi may be strong enough to stream that. I've definitely listened to a rugby match on a flight that way

I streamed a match when going to Chicago just after Xmas. Wasn't great by any means but was able to keep track of it fine. Maybe quality varies from plane to plane and who you're streaming off.

I once listened to a Mayo GAA game on local radio while half way across the Atlantic on an Aer Lingus flight....stream was poor for radio so can't imagine being able to stream video.

Hi, I’m in the same position with Aer Lingus on 17th March for last day of 6 nations. Did you have any joy with this?

Score updates on BBC Sport or RTE websites best option.

Maybe your best bet would be the TuneIn radio app.
The radio stations in Ireland also have an app called RadioPlayer. I haven't used it yet but it also has catch up radio.
