I have 2 outlets from my DVR vga and hdmi. Can I connect hdmi to main monitor for reviewing and extended VGA cable to downstairs tv(monitor)for live viewing, And can I use both together with no issues of picture quality??

SANNCE 5-in-1 8Channel 1080N Outdoor System with 1TB pre installed Surveillance Hard Drive. Motion detection, email alert, mobile phone control..
It's the system I choose after reading reviews yes I know probably not the greatest but for my needs and initial pay-out, I'm happy to go ahead with it.

You could get a HDMI splitter :

    http://www.freetv.ie/cables/hdmi/hdmi-splitters/

and just run HDMI to the second tv

it'd be better for the future if you upgrade etc
