worried about not getting paid for the storm

So the day of the storm I started worst 830 that morning. I was due to work an 8 hour shift. We ended up closing because of the storm at half 10 and left. So I worked a little over 2 hours.

We get a payroll spreadsheet sent to the store at the end of the week to confirm hurt that were worked by staff.

The problem is Monday the 16th was completely left off the form. They mentioned it was left off but have not given any indication.

I have emailed my area manager and cc'd HR and payroll. I got a reply from payroll telling me to email a certain person who would be the head of the brand in Ireland. I copied him into the email and emailed him. The only thing bus he hasn't responded......

So I hear that I should be paid as I was there and it was the company that closed. I don't know if it's true. But I did work at least 2 hours and now don't know if I trust them to even pay me for that. They have a history of short changing staff wages from time to time.

Any info or suggestions would be appreciated

Maybe wait and see what happens when you get paid? Because unless and until you haven't been paid, you haven't got a problem.
