folks my young bull seemed a bit off form ysterday evening, there was a very big cow bulling during the day(on slats with rubber) anyway he seemed fairly tender yesterday evening so took him away from cows, had a better look this morning, his tail looks to be shifted a bit to 1 side right back at the root, and he has a large swelling to one side of his arse so Im guessing he fell back on his ass and maybe broke his tail, he isnt too lively looking today now either and is just standng up chewing his cud and is eating a bit, im hoping a tail injury if thats what it is wouldnt be too bad ? would he need a bit of anti inflam or pain relief from vet?

Better to get vet, swelling could effect the spine so they will know when they see it

Get the vet out, had the same thing here last year, the swelling could be caused by internal bleeding, had to cut him to release the pressure. Not a pleasant job:mad:

spoke to vet yesterday, reckoned it sounded like broken tail and there wasnt much he could do, gave me loxicom and said see how he goes for a few days, he is well able walk around but if definately soar and lying a good bit
