    Hi,

Recently bought a new Belling Integrated Fridge/Freezer. Its a frost free version. It is much noisier than your previous Hotpoint non frost freeze version though. Seems like the motor (?) on the fridge runs an awful lot.

    Is this normal?

    Thanks

Your best bet is ring the retailer where you bought it and get them to have the service engineer from Belling have a look at it if you are not happy with the way it sounds. if it is running a lot it could be down to being badly fitted

Thanks, had retailer out as we weren't happy with the way he had the doors of the presses that the fridge is behind were put in. He said its because its a frost free that it is running more....I was sceptical of this response though.

to check that the doors are closing correctly open the top door and check that the magnetic seal on the bottom door is sealing onto the cabinet then check the other door likewise, if not the fridge is set too far back in the unit, it then needs to be moved forward the correct amount. if still not happy with its performance get a service engineer out to check it as the retailer will most likely only know how to sell it
