Cost of dental treatment for my daughter

    Hi

My daughter is 21 and studying in Ballymun. This is her first year on a new course. She currently works one day a week.

She has a front tooth which is going astray due to gum disease. She has seen an orthodontist and has paid a 500 euro deposit plus just under 1,000 euro towards treatment. The orthodontist has referred her to a periodontist for deep cleaning, but two deep cleaning sessions is going to cost her 690 euro.

Is there any other way she can get this treatment at a cheaper cost?

I've posted this on another website and would be interested in more feedback.

    Thankyou in advance

From have a quick google, that seems pretty average for 2 treatments. I'm not sure if the dental hospital offer such treatments but the wait time might be a longer than your daughter or indeed the Ortho may be comfortable with.
