3Arena will be a tough one to sell out for a band/artist well past its peak exposure.

I'm a huge fan and their Olympia show was incredible and I still love their stuff and indeed them to this day but this seems a big jump in venue.

    Can't wait for it.

so you're saying...tickets should be grand?

I enjoy them, and I would like to see them, but don't think I'd go to the Point to do so

I can't see it selling out. I could be wrong but it's too big a venue.

3Arena is awful for comedy gigs. Saw Chris Rock and John Bishop there recently and as usual, it's too big and cavernous for comedy and the crowd were generally sh!te. Vicar Street or the Olympia is where a gig like this belongs.

anyone got a presale code to share?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,806 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

Tickets are extremely pricey for this, going for between €28 and €83 not to mention they're self-touting and selling premium tickets for between €215 and €245.

    Ugh.

    Ugh.

€28 is an absolute bargain, €83 not so much. It depends where the bulk of the tickets are priced. I paid €50 to see them 6 or 7 years ago.

Anyone paying those Platinum prices needs their head examined.

€28 will probably be the back few rows of the venue I'd say. I'd say the majority of seating in flat and possibly the first tiered seating block will be €83.

    Hmm

3 Presale live - no €28 tickets available. Only other price options listed are €70.50 and €86!

    No 28 euro tickets.

Seriously, F*CK ticketmaster. Has to be one of the top most hated companies in the world for me. Run by scum and thieves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,209 ✭✭✭maximoose

Flat seating gone also, but no issue getting the €70 tickets still it seems.

Wonder how many rows reserved for €28.

Probably literally 2 seats in the whole place. Remember that 28 euro is less everything else...

Cheers. Aye none available for the 28 euro. I'll try get some on general release Friday morning. I love FOTC and saw them last time in Dublin, but I wouldn't be paying over €50 for a ticket for them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,469 ✭✭✭Shedite27

Just the side sections (A&G) available in the presale for the €77 tickets, think I'l hold and see what I get Friday.

Is there anywhere I can see what sections are €90 and which are €76?

That must be all that's left now, was offered B&C tickets earlier

As far as I could see this morning, €90 is for flat seating and €77 tickets were for all lower tiered seating as I was offered row 5 of block F for €77 but took flat seating at €90.

I saw Louis C.K. in the 3Arena, it was epic.

No 28 euro tickets at exactly 10am.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,499 ✭✭✭Sabre0001

Doesn't seem to be any €28 tickets available. How convenient for Ticketmaster....

Edit: And apparently sold out in 3mins.

    🤪

    Such bullsh*t.

4 tickets available for €200 each on Seatwave though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,209 ✭✭✭maximoose

    Got 4 €28 seats in Block H, that'll do

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,110 ✭✭✭xpletiv

Touts will do staggeringly well out of this one.

Absolutely no 28 euro tickets; i was online bang on 10am, even had their stupid countdown.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,758 ✭✭✭Pelvis

Why will touts do well for a gig that may well struggle to even sell out?

Was there only 2 tickets on sale for €28?

Bought my brother the 70ish tickets for Christmas, but am super confused at this selling so quickly? Are they still THAT popular?
    :o
Was also struggling to get myself a Steel Panther ticket, site kept crashing :pac:

Maybe you should read the thread again.

€28 tickets are gone (if they ever existed)

The ludicrously priced €70.50 & €86 tickets are still available, and will probably stay available.

    Still showing tickets for me??

Not sure about 80 odd quid a go, though.

    It's not sold out?

I just picked up 2 very easy, 70 quid each thou

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,110 ✭✭✭xpletiv

not seeing any of the other options, showing totally sold out for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,565 ✭✭✭quad_red

In anger I kept reloading the site and I'm after getting the front row of the seated section at the front. In the middle.

Still €70 tickets showing for me, middle of block L

€28 tickets look to have been just the edges of the green blocks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,110 ✭✭✭xpletiv

Thisis actually a disgusting practice of advertising 'from 28 euro', id say there was 10 tickets at that price at most.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,090 ✭✭✭FellasFellas

Got 4 seated together in the nosebleeds at the top of the Block N, not really bothered tbh, should be a great show

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,013 ✭✭✭MattD

Keep trying people, I was refreshing a load, getting a lot of nosebleed tickets and then suddenly got flat seating 3rd row.

188 quid for two tickets all told though... Too much for me.
