UK import, VW speedometer in KMH

    Hi all... I'm having a similar issue with my VW Golf GTI MK6... it is a UK import with all dials in MPH... I really want to be able to use the LARGE digital speedometer showing in KMH, but I can only get MPH grrrrr

    I have tried changing to Europe using Carista app with OBD2 Bluetooth plug...

    Does anyone definitively know can i get the large digital KMH speedo with this UK instrument? Will VAGCOM actually work? be different from OBD2?

    Need to get the centre digital display like this:

    It's called VCDS not vag com and it should work.

    Where are you based ?

    Actually rosstech regard it as vagcom, not that it matters to anything vag com diagnostic system is where the vcds came from :)

    Have you looked at their site in the last few years or dealt with Uwe ? It's VCDS.

    Doesn't the "VC" in "VCDS" stand for Vag Com anyway which would make one an abbreviation of the other and not two different names at all.

    Ok guys, ordered VCDS 17.8 cable & software... any specific instructions on how to get the large digital speedo in KMH?

    If not I can search online, thanks
