Guys, anyone know any of those cash for cars guys or webuyanycars guys in Limerick?

I had arranged a guy to take a car today that has been lying idle for 2 years. Worked perfectly, owner has just been in UK and never really drove it. 60,000 miles were on the clock.

Didn't show up and need it gone today.

Anyone know of any numbers? PM me.

Don't call any of those guys. Some of them are not the type you want around your place.
    What is the car?
Post a brief description. Someone will take it.

    It's an 05 Daewoo Kalos 1.2.

I couldn't PM you back. I would have no use for that type of car.

If your just looking to get rid of it quick, throw it on adverts or Donedeal for €200 and it'll surely be gone tonight.

Give one of the scrappies a call.

It's funny it's literally the type of car you couldn't give away for free.

Scrap yard, €20 and good riddance. Otherwise call an authorised car recycling centre and they will come and take it away. Anyone offering "cash for cars" are cowboys.

Hard to value it without seeing it but there are a good few for sale in this link.

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars/Daewoo/Kalos?sort=publishdate%20desc

Realistically you will find it hard to get it taken away today so why not try it at €200.
Don't forget to fill out and send the cert to Shannon. Don't give it to the buyer/taker away.

Stay well away from those we buy any car type chancers unless one day you get fed up with the contents of your house and want rid of them too.

Scrap yards in the area would be Bob Sweeney's in Castleconnell or Long's in Drumbanna. That particular car is worth sfa to a scrap yard as there is little or no demand for parts from it so just getting them to take it away will be a result imo.

I'd be interested in more detail too. (Mainly out of nosiness :pac: )

I've a 01 vvtli celica that I could do with getting rid of, running but with gearbox issues. It's too good to scrap, but not worth the hassle of putting on donedeal. I don't know if there is even a market for stuff like this.

    Another Saturday job for Motors.
It will be gone before the evening!

That's the problem, I don't know what the market for stuff like it is. Getting someone that'll take it away with minimal hassle is the main thing. You can PM me about it if you want more info?

It is worth the hassle of putting it on dd because you will have no problem selling it and the car won't in all likelihood go to scrap.
